JOYDIVISION is expanding to the USA

Headquartered in Hanover and renowned as a successful manufacturer of sensually erotic, premium-quality lifestyle products, JOYDIVISION international Aktiengesellschaft is embarking on this promising expansion in order to conquer the American market. JOYDIVISION is an internationally active corporation which already successfully sells its products in 60 countries. By opening a dedicated subsidiary in North America, the company will meet the discerning standards of American customers from 2014 onwards.

The parent company is JOYDIVISION international AG, whose headquarters are in Hanover, Germany. All products are developed and produced at this site. At JOYDIVISION, the words "MADE IN GERMANY" are a guiding principle.

Located in Atlanta/Georgia (USA), the newly-founded JOYDIVISION (North America) LLC will begin operating in early 2014. This dedicated subsidiary of JOYDIVISION international AG will run its distribution operations for the USA and Canada from its central North American warehouse. This expansion of the corporation's distribution and logistics structure represents a further step towards successful globalisation.

The corporation's famous brands, such as AQUAglide – Europe's favourite branded lubricant – and BIOglide – the first 100 % natural lubricant – as well the high-quality Joysticks and Joyballs, will continue to be manufactured to the same exacting standards in Germany. Additional "Made in Germany" brands will gradually be added to the range and adapted to the requirements of American consumers.

Founded 20 years ago with nothing but a vision and a one-bedroom apartment for its warehouse and office, JOYDIVISION can look back on a success story which continues to be written with gusto.

JOYDIVISION will be taking part in the ANME Founders 2014 Show from 11 to 13 January 2014, in time for the company’s market entry. The US team, including founder and CEO Oliver Redschlag, are looking forward to new business relationships and a good start in an additional international market, with over 300 million consumers.
